Transaction Statuses Explained

Every transaction in Voru moves through a series of statuses that reflect where it stands in the process. Keeping statuses current ensures your pipeline is accurate and your reporting is reliable.

Status Definitions

StatusWhat It Means
Pre-SignedA listing or buyer agreement has been discussed but not yet signed. Use this for deals in negotiation or on deck.
ActiveThe listing is live on the market, or the buyer is actively searching.
PendingA contract has been signed and the deal is moving toward closing.
ClosedThe transaction has successfully closed. This is when GCI is counted in your financials and leaderboard.
x-CancelledThe deal was cancelled before closing. Prefixed with x so it sorts separately and does not affect active metrics.
y-Sale FailedThe transaction failed after going under contract. Prefixed with y for the same reason.

How Statuses Affect Reporting

  • Closed transactions count toward your YTD GCI, Units, and Volume on the Dashboard and Leaderboard
  • Pending transactions appear in Pending GCI on the Dashboard KPI card and in Upcoming Closings
  • Active and Pre-Signed transactions appear in the pipeline funnel but do not count toward closed production
  • x-Cancelled and y-Sale Failed transactions are preserved for your records but excluded from performance metrics

Listing vs. Buyer Transactions

Each transaction has a Type:
  • Listing — You represent the seller
  • Buyer — You represent the buyer
Both types move through the same statuses and both count toward GCI and units when closed.

Days on Market (DOM)

For Listing transactions, Voru calculates DOM automatically from the list date.

Days to Close

For Pending transactions, Voru tracks days from when the deal went pending to the expected close date.
