# ROI Tracker

> Find out which lead sources are delivering the best return on your marketing investment.

# ROI Tracker

The ROI Tracker connects your closed transactions to your marketing spend, showing you exactly which lead sources are generating the most revenue and which are costing you more than they produce.

## ROI Table

| Column             | Description                                         |
| ------------------ | --------------------------------------------------- |
| **Rank**           | Ordered by closed GCI, highest first                |
| **Source**         | The lead source name                                |
| **Units Sold**     | Closed transactions from this source                |
| **Closed GCI**     | Total GCI earned from closed deals with this source |
| **Pending Units**  | Transactions from this source currently pending     |
| **Pending GCI**    | Expected GCI from pending transactions              |
| **Investment**     | What you spent on this lead source                  |
| **ROI %**          | Return on investment as a percentage                |
| **Avg Commission** | Average GCI per transaction from this source        |

## GCI by Source Pie Chart

Above the table, a pie chart shows the percentage of total closed GCI contributed by each lead source.

## Entering Lead Source Investment

Click on the investment field for any source and enter what you spent. Voru calculates ROI as:

ROI % = (Closed GCI / Investment) x 100
```

An ROI of 100% means you earned your money back. 300% means you tripled your investment.

## Lead Source Assignment

Lead sources are assigned when you create or edit a transaction. Accurate lead source data is critical to making ROI reporting meaningful.

## Using ROI Data to Make Decisions

* Sources with high ROI and high volume are worth increasing investment
* Sources with low ROI and low volume are candidates to reduce or cut
* Pending GCI tells you which sources have momentum right now, not just historically
